- OBJECTIVES :
- The main aim of our project is to Planning and Designing “AN OPEN AIR THEATRE CUM STADIUM & AUDITORIUM”
- The project will be constructed as a Framed structure.
- The planning of the project is proposed in specified AUTO-CAD software.
- The structural Analysing and Designing of the project will be carried out in STADD-PRO software.

The purpose of the building is to solve land requirements problem and capital investment as building is used for triple purpose.
- Theatre :
Theatre is the place of entertainment where movies shall be played for the hostel students.
- Stadium :
Stadium is a sports arena. Sports events can be conducted over here.
- Auditorium :
Auditorium is the place of hearing. Cultural events, seminars, and lectures can be conducted over here.
- CAPACITY :
If it is used as stadium & theatre 1500 people can be accommodated in the gallery. Otherwise if used as an Auditorium the posts can be removed and chairs arranged in the ground. Hence as an Auditorium, it can accommodate 2500 people.
- Gallery :
In gallery there are 13 steps with tread 1000mm, rise 200mm and fixed seats. It has also been provided with 3m wide roof slab supported by cantilever beam.
MULTIPURPOSE PLAYING COURT :
The size of this court is 26m*36m. In this court four types of games can be played namely kho-kho, volley ball, badminton, kabadi using removable posts.

D.DIPLOMAPROJECT PROFILE :
PROJECT NAME : Planning, Designing and Estimating of
“Over Head Tank”.
Project detail :
The Aim of the project is to Plan, Design and Estimate the above building. In that we have prepared Using AutoCADD2004 Software, Data Estimate, Detail Estimate, Abstract Estimate, Analyzed for structural elements and Designed for Structural Elements Like slabs, Beams, Columns, Column Footings.
It’s proposed to construct a over head tank of floor area 1200 m2.
To accommodate 65 house at an estimate cost of Rs.358000 for the Addukkambarai village at vellore.
The estimate provides the following accommodations like pipe line, pump room, over head tank and etc., The estimate has been prepared using current T.W.A.D schedule of rates for the year 2004-2005.
The fdn column, bracing, beam, ring beam, floor slab tank {circular} dome. The R.C.C 1:1/2:3 with cement concrete. It’s also plastered with the same cement.
Details of drawings, designs & estimate are enclosed here for the over head tank. The construction work is according to the given specification.
