Advanced Pest Management (APM) Course

a. Duration: One Day for Each Course

b. Qualification:
i. Following Courses shall be offered to only those who have successfully completed Level I training; OR
ii. Industry professionals from the management category who have completed minimum 05 years service in commercial pest management; OR
iii. Industry professionals who have already undergone CFTRI or similar courses from recognized institutes in India;
iv. Should have working knowledge of English.

c. Members shall be free to choose courses of their requirement / choice from the subjects mentioned below

d. Class Room + Actual Field application

e. Training Tools: Presentation slides, Videos, Actual Equipment, Material, PPE, Projector, Screen, Laptop, Field site, vehicle for transport to field site and return

f. Evaluation: Written Test and Oral Assessment. A score of minimum 60% and above will qualify for the IPCA Competency Certificate. Those who do not qualify shall be considered “Not Yet Competent as on that day” but will have an option to participate again and appear for evaluation. Maximum attempts for qualification would be limited to 03.

4. Advanced Bed Bug Management
5. Code of Conduct and Customer Relations
6. Advanced Equipment Usage and Maintenance including use of Monitoring & Detection Tools
7. Advanced Mosquito Management
8. Advanced Fly Management
9. IPM: Integrated Pest Management and Pest Inspections in FHE
10. Advanced Fumigation – Rapid Refresher course
11. Pesticides: Safety and Application, MSDS
