- Perform Visual Inspection on completed welds for the occurrence of Porosity, Cracks, Undercut, and Spatters prior to Non Destructive Testing..
- Conducting Punch listing work prior to Hydro test / pneumatic test and post Hydro test / pneumatic test.
- Preparation of test packages including weld map & weld traceability.
- Directly reporting to the QA/QC Manager, for work progress and daily activities.
- Ensuring implementation of Quality Control Plan, Procedure and Inspection & Test plan.
- Verify & check the Welders Qualification Record.
- Documentation and recording of all testing activities, daily welding reports, weld repair rate, welders performance etc.
- Conduct Fit up inspection prior to full welding and ensure that only qualified welders are allowed to perform in accordance with the approved WPS.
