Job Fair in Madurai 2011 : Anna University of Technology

Anna University to hold job fair Special Correspondent MADURAI: The Anna University of Technology Madurai is organising a job fair here on March 28 and 29 with participation of 37 companies.
It will be held at the Latha Mathavan College of Engineering, Alagarkoil, and students belonging to all branches of B.E., B.Tech., MCA and MBA of 2009, 2010 and 2011 batches are eligible to attend the job fair.

A press release from the university Vice-Chancellor R.Murugesan here on Friday said that this is the third job fair being organised by AUT Madurai.
For the coming job fair, the registration fee is Rs.150 for those who have graduated in 2009 and 2010 while it would be Rs.200 for the current year batch. Candidates who have already registered with AUT Madurai by paying Rs.750 are exempted from paying any registration fee now.

The press release informed that the first job fair which was conducted on February 12 had a registration of over 4,500 students of whom nearly 400 candidates were selected for placement orders in various companies. The results of this job fair are posted on the university website www.autmdu.ac.in.

The second job fair was held for the MBA graduates on March 19 and 20.
Those who want to attend the fair have to take a demand draft favouring “The Director- CGC, Anna University of Technology Madurai” payable at Madurai.

TITLE : “Design and Implementation of an Efficient Two-Level Scheduler for
Cloud Computing Environment”
DESCRIPTION :
Cloud computing focuses on delivery of reliable, fault tolerant and scalable infrastructure for hosting Internet based application services. Our work presents the implementation of an efficient Quality of Service (QoS) based meta-scheduler and Backfill strategy based light weight Virtual Machine Scheduler for dispatching jobs. In this the user centric meta-scheduler deals with selection of proper resources and system centric Virtual Machine (VM) scheduler optimally dispatches the jobs to processors for better resource utilization.
