VLSI Design today, has acquired the status of the most happening field in Electronics. This is a highly specialized field that has the power of integrating millions of transistors on a single Silicon Chip.

The VLSI family i.e. PLDs, FPGAs along with EDA Tools have changed the VLSI Design scenario. These tools are finding extensive applications in areas like Consumer Electronics, Defense, Aerospace, Set Top Entertainment Boxes, Computer Peripherals, Satellites, Communication, Cell Phones, Etc.

Further, growing technological requirements like reduction in design-cycle-times, need for multiple featured, low cost, low powered, small sized and high performance devices, have created an unprecedented demand for design of Large Complex Integrated Circuits.

This demand has further fuelled the need for an increase in the number of individuals involved in VLSI Design and calls for an increased emphasis on effectively utilizing of available resources to aid in design.

Rate of change of technology is becoming comparable to the Design Cycle Time. Hence, Time-to-Market has become a key issue. Further, Features-Sizes have crossed the submicron barrier and device speeds are approaching Giga Hertz. Also, million gate devices are available of the shelf. Hence, Modeling and Testing of devices has assumed prime importance. The challenge of the VLSI Design Engineer lies, in creating designs that are in tune with the changing VLSI Design field.

ACADAMIC PROJECT
MINI PROJECT : SERIES TO PARALLEL OPERATION OF MOTORS.
Many of the industries, workload sectors require continuous supply of power .A minute disturbance or absence of power will leave them in a circle of loses. However to work with the systems the primary objective is continuous supply of power so this project aims to eradicate the interruptions in the basic work. We here by explain this concept with help of servo –motors & relay systems. The general operation of machines in any industrial sector is based on series operations of machines by which the load is being equally shared. But when a fault occurs like tripping of motor, disconnection of any of wires will lead to the interruption in work. So, this problem can be overcome by our project by which the series connections are transferred to parallel connections. The machines which are connected in series basically were connected so as to have a good initiating torque. This condition will not do at the time of adding load.
MAIN PROJECT : “OVER VIEW OF THERMAL PLANT” at AP GENCO IN RAMAGUNDAM (RTS-B).
The electricity has become essential commodity rather than luxury now a days . In a state or region, thermal power stations will become important .The concept of modern thermal power station is that it should be situated at a place that the basic requirements of fuel, water and land should be satisfied. For efficient, reliable and safe operation of thermal power station, it is necessary to have a overall idea on the development, basic principles, parameters, operation and maintenance of various components used in thermal power station. Steam generators, boilers, use heat to convert water into steam for variety of applications.
VALUE ADDITIONS :
I have the ability to learn and apply new technology. I have already worked in a team in building a project that will help your organization to add value.
