    PROJECT# 1 : B.E. FINAL YEAR
    AUTOMATION OF TEMPERATURE CONTROL IN CEMENT PLANT USING PLC
    Client : CHETTINAD CEMENT CORPORATION LTD, PULIYUR.
    The main objective of this project is to continuous controlling of lignite mill bag house temperature in cement plant using PLC and to reduce the man power increases the overall safety. In this project the temperature can be controlled by using PLC system in LIGNITE mill BAGHOUSE. In this process RTD’s are given as input at various locations in BAGHOUSE. Due to the continuous controlling of temperature, BAGHOUSE is getting prevented from burning.
    Role : In this project my Role was to optimize the RTDs used as temperature sensors to fit in the requirement, programming of the PLC for data acquisition from and to design the threshold voltage to trigger the control action. Actually I was a Team Leader of this project.

    The Ultimate aim of this system project is used for the safety purpose in industries. 8051 micro-controller is used for controlling the process and IR sensor is used for the detection of object.
