Experimental studies were carried out on wood epoxy composites. Experiments were carried out to find thermal conductivity and specific heat of the composite. Acoustic test was carried out to find sound absorption capacity of the wood epoxy composites.

“Evaluation Of Vendor Performance And Classification Of Vendors Using Vendor Rating Method”

I did my Project on vendor rating in “Kirloskar Electric Company ltd, Hubli”. I learnt many things while doing project in KEC ltd. I learnt what all are the procedures companies are using in evaluating suppliers performance.
A Vendor Rating or Supplier Rating is a business term used to describe the process of measuring an organization's supplier capabilities and performance.

Supplier rating often forms part of an organization's supplier relationship management program. Such systems can vary in the criteria that are assessed; this broadly falls into quantitative and qualitative types can be used as when undertaking vendor rating, the process varies from one organization to another – common criteria often include-Quality, Price, and Delivery. Results of each variable are then weighted into a final score – usually a percentage, allowing suppliers to be ranked.

Supplier rating is an ongoing activity; suppliers are often assessed continuously or periodically (once in every 4 months). Various criteria can be analyzed within supplier rating systems – a common approach is to utilize Cost Quality and Delivery measures and apply weighting against criteria in accordance with company requirements. Vendors are also classified on the ratings they have for in each of the category and also upon their overall rating.

Organizations then often band suppliers according to results which may commonly be used to highlight poor performing suppliers so that they can be removed from use. Supplier rating results may also trigger improvement programs on suppliers that score low. Trend analysis is often applied to supplier rating which allows organizations to monitor changes in supplier performance over time. Both suppliers and buyers should utilize supplier ratings system to drive performance and improve the business relationships.

I have been participating in many activities which are conducted in college. One of the major activity which I can proudly say that am part of it is marketing department of our college had come up with wonderful advertisement in which we tried to highlight Bangalore as IT hub, city for education, city which can be for medical tourism as we have observed many peoples from other countries come to Bangalore for medical treatment. And most important thing is people love Bangalore for its cool weather. Also we tried to highlight different peoples from different culture living in Bangalore do believe in unity and city which love peace.
Caption we gave for our advertisement is “OPPORTUNITY BECKONS”.
I would love to say that I was a part of the designing of LOGO for our advertisement and Bangalore and also I was involved in building the concept for this whole advertisement and it got appreciation from many guests and our college management.
