RESPONSIBILITIES :.
- Trouble shooting, alarm reduction & debugging the faults in the GSM network along with diagnosing the different units at BSS level & raising of Work order to the Circle team.
- Configuration Faults : Faults arising out of improper Configuration.
Trouble Ticket Management through PT4
- Remote Monitoring the Network Nodes.
- Analyze KPI reports & rectify the faults.
- Operations Support System (OSS) : Faults related to measurement data.
- And OSS link faults are escalated to media owners and local end.
- Hardware Faults : Faults in the hardware of MSC, HLR & BSC.
- Software Faults : Faults in the hardware of MSC, HLR & BSC.
- Trouble Shooting OSS over IP issues.
- Creation and deletion of computer units (BCSU, MCMU, TCSM) and non computer units (CLS, ET, GSW).
- Perform audit of Network performance using PM reports (Worst performing cells, sleeping cells, zero call cells, VSWR issues, TCH Completion/ Assignment, etc) that creates impact on NQI of the network..
- Co-ordinate with care team & Technical Support Group related to issues that involve critical outages
PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE / CORRRECTIVE MAINTENANCE :
- BSC health check up and analysis.
- Maintain Customer SLA’s throughout the shift
- Providing BSC level support & guiding the field team to overcome BSS related problems.(BTS Configuration & SW up gradation, E1 Cross Connections, traffic management & other transmission related issues).
- Analysis of Daily performance report.
