Piping field experience working for the main contractor, preferably in Sulphur tanks and pipe work
Experience of jacketed piping an additional benefit
Review engineering documents for field constructability, Suggest modification, review / Understand engineering documents.
Review and advise input for construction scheduling and manpower loading
Liaise with the construction team and client organizations on work plan, progress and technical issues

1) M/s Gulf Petrochemical Services & Trading LLC :
1.1) Worked for a service contract for developing the Oil field of Occidental Oman in
Mukhaizna, Oman
- Performing site survey and estimation of quantities for tender preparation for fabrication and installation of On plot piping & pipe lines and verification of quantities of related civil works. Carried out Quantity estimation in terms of Length of piping, pipe lines, number of joints, inch diameter to be welded , installation of various types of valves, Blind Flanges, Tie-ins, Scaffolding installation, Application of Insulation & Cladding, number of sleeves for internal coated piping, Pipe supports, civil foundations, ROW preparation, etc.,
- Verification and field checking of Isometric drawings before releasing for construction and explaining about the work to supervisors for smooth functioning of construction activities.
- Co-ordination with QC inspectors and site erection team to release spools for installation.
- Preparing cost estimation for dismantling of equipments such as Furnace, Sand Filters, On plot piping, Pipe lines etc., by estimating the cost of various categories of man power and machineries.
- Communication with client’s Engineering Dept. for all Engineering issues such as mistakes and missing information in the drawings, reporting clashes between the drawing and existing site conditions and sending proposal to client by making additional drawings with BOQ to resolve the clashes.

b) Expansion of Raysut Gas Supply Station : Installation of 4nos Heaters, 4nos Separators, 3nos. Pressure Reduction Trains, Pipe racks, 51.0m height Flare stack, On plot piping size 20”, 18”,16”, 4” GRE underground drain lines and Tie-ins with existing system
1.3) Worked for Petroleum Development Oman’s MARMUL & NIMR Field development projects.
a) Marmul – Al Khalata : Replacement Pipeline Project which comprises the following:
i)Construction of three new GRE Pipelines and decommissioning of old CS above ground flow lines.
ii) New 2.24 KM, 16ӯ GRP 35 barg Bulk Liquid Pipeline from MM-B to MM-G Station. (Replacement is done due to integrity).
iii) New 2.95 KM, 18”Ø GRP 35 barg Bulk Liquid Pipeline from MM-C to MM-G Station. (Looping of the current 14” MM-C with MMPS Pipeline).
iv) New 3.295 KM, 18ӯ GRP 35 barg Bulk Liquid Pipeline from MM-D to MMPS Station. (Replacement is done due to integrity).
On plot piping & shut down tie-in works in MM-B, MM-C, and MM-D & MMPS Stations.
Decommissioning Work :
14” CS existing above ground flow line (4.32 KM) from MM-B to MMPS.
14” CS existing above ground flow line (3.2 KM) from MM-D to MMPS.
14” CS existing above ground flow line (6.0 KM) from MM-G to MMPS.
b) MAURID – MMPS PIPELINES
MAURID – MMPS PIPELINES is a project comprising of a 16” GRE Bulk Liquid Pipeline and a 12” CS Water Injection Pipeline.
16” GRE pipeline is a bulk liquid pipeline which was constructed from Maurid to MMPS (Marmul Main Power Station), in the South Oman. The GRE pipes supplied by Future Pipe Industries L.L.C, were having a wall thickness of 10.50mm and the total length of the line is 28.75 KM with a design pressure of 35 bar.
12” CS pipeline is a water injection pipeline which was constructed from D.W.D (Deep Water Disposal Plant) to Maurid. The total length of the pipeline is 32.105 Km, with a wall thickness of 8mm and 11mm.
HDPE liner was installed into the CS pipeline by the PE lining sub -contractor STS (Special Technical Services LLC). a total of 49 Flange Pits were constructed for the HDPE Liner Installation. The Flange Pit joints were applied with Stopaq, (Stopaq Paste FN 4100 & Wrapping Bands), for corrosion resistance.
c) MCD PHASE-II & AL-KHALATA PHASE-III PROJECT
i)This project scope was expansion of Marmul Main Production station. The scope of work was installation of Bulk Separators, Drain vessel, Flare Stack; Knock out Drum, Gas Compressor On plot piping with ESD Valves, 65000 inch dia. and Tie-in of new bulk headers with existing facilities.
The scope of work also includes Bye-passing of Gathering stations MM-B, MM-C, MM-D & MM-G by installing new MSV’s; new Test & Bulk MFM’s; U/G Drain system, new 14” bulk headers and related piping at each station. Shut down activities were performed for advanced Tie-in of flow lines to MSV inlets at each stations for diverting the oil flow from existing manifolds to new bulk separators at MMPS through existing 36” Export line from MM-G to MMPS.
d) Runib-Rima 20” GRE Pipeline, Nimr Field
This is replacement pipeline from Runib fields to Rima Main Production Station for 16” CS Pipeline due to integrity. This is a 9.5km pipeline with 3 road crossings and 5 livestock crossings.
2) Nasser.S.Al Hajri Corporation, Jubail
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
2.1) BDO PROJECT Butanediol Plant (GACIC / SIPCHEM Facility)
Project scope was the construction of BDO Plant comprises of Butamer area, Main distillation plant, Reactor area, compressor area. This is the Phase II of existing Sipchem GACIC Plant which utilizing the by-porduct of GACIC Plant as raw material for the production of Butanediol.
I was totally responsible for On plot piping erection and hydro testing of one hundred thousand inch dia. i.e piping erection on pipe racks of four areas and unit piping on six areas.
250 work men of various categories worked under me.
2.2) n-PARAFFIN & LAB PROJECT Gulf Farabi Petrochemical Company
Project scope was the construction of n-Paraffin plant and LAB plant which comprises of main production units, utility area, Tank farm and Truck loading area.
I was totally responsible for On plot piping erection of one hundred and fifty thousand inch dia. 360 work men of various categories worked under me.
3} M/s.Cochin Construction Works,Kerala, India
Construction of mechanical projects and annual shut down works at Kochi Refineries LTD & FACT LTD.

DETAILS OF DUTIES PERFORMED IN VARIOUS PROJECTS
1. FIELD ENGINEERING
i) Checked the correctness of drawings by comparing P&ID/GA/ISO/
3D CAD drawings and the necessary revisions were carried out.
ii) Performed the Field Design Changes in the piping due to interference with the
Equipments / structure / civil / electrical / existing facilities, etc.,
iii) Prepared piping General Arrangement and isometric drawings for the package
Units supplied by vendors.

2. CONSTRUCTION
i) Worked as a Team Leader for the mechanical construction works in various organizations such as Contracting, EPC companies.
ii) Supervised the fabrication, erection, pressure testing and pre-commissioning of CS,
LTCS, SS, Duplex SS, GRE piping of Dia. ½ inch to 36” Dia.
iii) Prepared various method statements & erection schemes for erection of piping and
Equipments.

3. COMMISSIONING
i) Carried out piping and pipe line (system) flushing, hydro testing and drying activities.
ii) Given assistance to commissioning team for carrying out the pre-function test and
nitrogen Purging of various sub systems and equipments in the process plants.
iii) Performed Hook up of new equipments and piping with the existing Live system by taking partial shut downs.
iv) Carried out De-commissioning, De-oiling and Dismantling of Crude oil pipe lines.
