Course Objective :
The course aims to aware candidates about BTS site installation, commissioning, integration & testing and provide them with an in depth knowledge of complete cell site and GSM Technology.

Course Overview :
This training program is designed to give comprehensive overview of Communication system, GSM system & CDMA system to the candidates. In the later phase, training will be based on practical lines for telecommunication which constitutes giving the brief ideas of telecom terminologies and equipments used at cell site. After the completion of training, candidates will become familiar with various RF Segments such as RF survey, Civil work, Installation and Commissioning, AT, Quality Audit, Health and safety precautions etc.

Course Contents :
Module-A : Introduction to communication
History of communication, What is GSM, Evolution of GSM, Fundamentals of GSM, GSM Architecture, Understanding GSM channels, Call flow in GSM system, Radio interface, advantages of GSM, GSM traffic management, GSM transmission, GSM 900/1800/1900, What is CDMA, Evolution of CDMA, spread spectrum techniques, CDMA system architecture.

Module-B : About the Cell Site & Outdoor Equipments
What is cell site, Introduction & classification of cell site, Telecom Towers, Diesel Generator, Shelters, AMF panel, Earthing Pits, Lightning Arrestors, Aviation Lamps, Pole Mounts, Outdoor Cable Trays (HCT & VCT), GSM Antenna & Accessories (Tilt Arrangement, Antenna Clamps etc.), RF cables & Accessories (RF cables, Jumper cables, RF connectors, RF Clamp, RF Earthing Kits, Whether proofing Kits, TMB, TMA & Surge Arrestors etc.)

Providing well designed training material to all the candidates, Lectures by qualified & highly experienced trainers. We provide elaborate classroom study for 4 weeks and 2 weeks of lab/on site field study.
