Title : “AUTONOMOUS SEARCH VEHICLE WITH WIRELESS VIDEO CAMERA”.
Description : The aim of the project is to implement the search vehicle which helps in finding out the anti-social activities. It takes the video of the surroundings in remote places and will transmit them to the control room. The main goal of the project is to present a working solution for autonomous search navigation, to be implemented in vehicle for operation in forest terrains. The Autonomous Ground Vehicle (AGV) designed with dc motors, driven by the micro controller detects the objects like trees, bushes, stones etc. To achieve this task we will use the components like stepper motor-for the movement of the vehicle, wireless video camera-to capture the surroundings and to transmit them through wireless communication technique, micro controller-to control the speed, direction of stepper motor based on signals received from different components, and different sensors to identify the obstacles walls, trees, pits etc. and also to control capture mechanism of the wireless network. The complete vehicle which carries the total electronic circuitry including camera is designed to operate at 9 volts dc. To drive the vehicle, dc motors used at rear side, and the vehicle wheels are directly coupled to motor shafts. Two motors are used and each motor is capable to drive up to 5kg loads, because the holding torque of the motor is 5 kgs.
