The Summer Internship Program is undertaken after the second semester of the program and is faculty-supervised. This will equip the students with practical application skills relevant to various situations.The Summer Internship Program is an attempt to bridge the gap between the professional world and the academic institutions. It is a simulation of the real work environment and enables students to experience the rigors of a professional organization.

Profile
I am a highly self motivated and very energetic student with academic excellence. I am currently seeking a summer internship to complement the theory being learned at the University, and to gain more knowledge in the field of Computer Science. I have solid communication, leadership and problem solving skills and can interact very well with others.
Projects Skills
October 2010 : I developed a menu driven File handling system as a part of my Computer science project. This mimics the file handling operations run by the OS.
November 2009 : I developed a Burglar Alarm system as my Digital logic project. This uses a light detector to check for any trespassing and the alarm goes off when the light is blocked.

English, Hindi, Tamil. I have also learnt Sanskrit & French as part of my school curriculum.
Award and Honors
- I earned a scholarship in my college for qualifying in the top 50 (from Tamil Nadu) in the college entrance test (VITEEE).
- I am in the college Basketball team.I was also on my Highschool Basketball team,for all 4 years,and our team finished 2nd in the CBSE clusters(south zone) during my junior and senior year.
We also won the zonals and many other tournaments during this time.
- I was nominated to be the SPL(School Pupil Leader) during my highschool senior year.
- In my high school senior year(board exam), I was the top scorer in Sanskrit from my school and was awarded for the same. I was also awarded for being an all-rounder(more than 80% in
academics and involved in one or more non-academic fields) in my school.
- In my highschool junior year, I won an award for being the top scorer(in terms of marks) with the given elective(sanskrit). I was also the top scorer in Sanskrit.
- I was on my schools Football team during my sophomore year.
- I was on my schools Volleyball team during my High school senior year.
- I have also won many awards in art ( drawing & painting) and I'm a self-taught guitarist and keyboardist.
- I am also a self taught Card Magician & Rubix Cube solver. I can solve the Rubix cube in about a minute.
Areas of Interest
- I have always had a passion for Logic and Problem solving.
- I love working with Computers and other machines.
- Probability and Game Theory are also fields that ignite
my curiosity.
