We are designing 2 summer internships (paid and unpaid) from March to August 2011. This is a the ideal opportunity for young individuals looking to get involved with cultural events in Kolkata. An internship with Littlei fosters a deep connection with music and art in the city, develops organizational and management skills and provides an experience of working on some of the most progressive events in the country.

Description - A functionally graded material (FGM) is a two-component composite characterized by a compositional gradient from one component to the other and they therefore involve a compromise between the desirable properties of the component materials. The properties of both components can be fully utilized. For example, the toughness of a metal can be mated with the refractoriness of a ceramic, without any compromise in the toughness of the metal side or the refractoriness of the ceramic side.
