Winter Internship Program 2010-11

Winter Internship Program-2010-11(WIP2010-11) is being organized by Robosapiens India. All engineering students are eligible for this program.

Why the internship is necessary?

* This Winter Internship Program(WIP 2010-11) enhances the capabilities of the students to explore beyond the limits.
* Students will have a hands-on experience on new technologies, which will increase their potential in the field of technology.
* It helps the students in their major projects and research work.
* In our internship we are using some tools that has been taught in all most every engineering field.
* Students will be able to understand the back-end mechanism of each technology they are working on.
* One will get the opportunity to interact with most talented and experienced professionals in their respective fields.
* Students will learn the concept of team management while working on projects.
* We are working on real time applications which lead to more interaction between the students and the applications.
* Students will be able to implement the most sophisticated and frequently used techniques now-a-days i.e. Artificial Intelligence.
* One will be able to make machines intelligent just by writing lines of code.
* While designing different projects students will get opportunity to handle the combo pack of almost all engineering fields like computer science,mechanical engg, electronics engg. etc.
* Students will be able to choose their respective fields of interest which helps them in getting better job.

Duration:
Duration of the Internship in 12 working days(2 weeks)
(Regular on on campus Training program 4 hr each day)

INDUSTRIAL TRAINING
- Industrial Training at AMW’s (Asia motor works Ltd., Bhuj) production plant and studied about assembly of whole vehicle and also done short term projects on SOP(Standard operating Procedure) and MOST(Maynard operation sequence Technique) observation and updating ,for 30 days as a part of academics of 7th semester of B.TECH
- Industrial Training at STATE TRANSPORT DIVISIONAL WORKSHOP (Junagadh, Gujrat) for 12 week as a part of training during Diploma’s 4th semester.
- Industrial Training at CENTRAL WORKSHOP OF GUJARAT STATE ROAD TRANSPORT at Naroda, Ahmadabad. For 3 week as a part of training during Diploma’s 4th semester.
PROJECT WORK & SEMINAR
- I have successfully completed project on “Solenoid operated gear shifting system with top gear Indicator” in which we have attached two solenoids with the gear shifting lever of motorcycle and made modification in gear shifter internal shaft’s arrangement for the indication of gear as a project member and project head. With this concept, Person can drive the motorcycle easily even in heavy traffic condition by pushing hand buttons for changing gears. For up to 40 % disable person with leg, this system works wonderfully.
- I have successfully completed project on “Regenerative Brake & Regenerative Socks Absorber”, it is a model of the concept in which we have tried to utilize reciprocating motion of shock absorber to charge the Battery and utilized kinetic energy, which is going to be waste during Braking and we used it to charge the battery. Third source of power is solar panel. Thus we have used three power sources to charge the battery and thus to propel the wheel through motor. This will lead to eliminate engine and vehicle will serve in the favor of mankind as well as to environment
- Participate in National Level Inter College Project Competition and Won 2nd prize.
- Presented the seminar on the topic of “formula 1 car steering wheel instruction” as the part of academics 8th semester of B.Tech .
EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
- Have won a national level inter college project competition with second rank on the occasion of engineer’s day.
- Have modified the airplane engine and made working model of it in college Organized by Indian society of Technical Education during diploma..
