ACADEMIC PROJECT

- Controlling Electrical appliances by wireless communication.
In this project we could control several electrical appliances from remote distances by just using a single PC/Laptop. It uses ATMEGA 16 Microcontroller and it drives a Relay, which controls the Appliances. The communication between the transmitting and Receiving section is done by ASK Transmitter module and ASK Super Heterodyne receiver module. In the Transmitting section serial link between the PC/Laptop andATMEGA16 microcontroller is done by RS 232.Its advantages are that it uses less wires & cables which reduces its designing and maintenance cost. This application can be widely used in Access Cards, Power plants, Control & Instrumentation (C&I), Advanced home automation.
