Job Fair Coimbatore 2011 : Nehru Group of Institutions

Nehru Group of Institutions is conducting a job fair, ‘Offer Plus Drive 2011', on March 24 and 25.

Lakshmi Narayan, placement director, told reporters here on Monday that many corporate and engineering companies would participate in the event, to be held at the Nehru Institute of Engineering and Technology and Nehru College of Arts and Sciences. Only fresh graduates from arts and science colleges and engineering institutions were eligible to attend the employment fair.

The companies participating would offer regular jobs with attractive pay packets. The event was being organised under the guidance of P. Krishnakumar, Chief Executive Officer and Secretary of Nehru Group of Institutions.

Twenty core engineering companies with 200 openings would be scouting for talents among engineering graduates from electronics and communication, electrical and electronics, computer science, mechanical and aeronautical engineering disciplines.

Arts and science graduates could look up to grabbing the 1,500 openings in companies from accounts, catering, business management, international trade, social work, fashion designing, microbiology, biotechnology, visual communication, commerce, literature fields.

Mr. Narayan said registration was free. Students from 70 – 80 colleges were expected to participate. For details, dial 98435-47999.
