Project Title : “EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE STRATEGY” IN NMDC SPONGE IRO N UNIT
Description In every industry the need of maintenance is enormous so as to run efficiently and economically. Maintenance is the process of keeping equipment in good condition and the provision of the means to support life especially by work. The objective of the maintenance is to facilitate the optimal use of the capital equipment through action such as replacement, repair, service and modifications of the components. So in our project we study the maintenance strategy of sponge iron extraction from the components with coal as reductant and fuel and it is also used as a substitute material for steel scrap in making of steel.
