DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Review of approved WPS and PQR for the fabrication.study of ITP ,WQT, and other documents attendance of Welder qualification test at shop .inspection of calibration certificates of holding ovens,baking ovens.fit up inspection of joints to rectify any mismatch/high low before welding ,visual welding inspection before during and after welding.monitoring the welding and counter check welding parameters according to approved WPS. review the approved isometric drawings .selection of joints for NDT 100 % and 10 %RT and UT,MPI witnessing of repair joints after cutting. maintaining the records of daily welding reports ,repair joints,reshoot joints,welder performance records on daily basis.knowledge of ASME B31.3, B31.4 ,B31.8,API 1104,AWS D1.1,ASME SEC V,ASME SEC VIII and ASME SEC IX etc.
FROM FEBRUARY 2009 TO JUNE 2010 :
