THE HINDU WOMEN’S OPPORTUNITIES FAIR 2011

The Hindu and AVTAR Career Creators welcome you to The Hindu Women’s Opportunities Fair 2011, Chennai. It is a unique event exclusively for women, scheduled on Saturday, 19th March 2011 at Laity Auditorium, 17, Balfour Road, Kilpauk, Chennai - 600 010 (Behind Bain School).

The fair, presented by Accenture and Sutherland as associate partners, is expected to provide over 7,500 jobs in full-time, part-time, flexi-time, assignment and contract-based work profiles. AVTAR Career Creators are the knowledge partners for the Job Fair and will provide assessment and placement assistance for flexi-time, part-time and full time jobs to all candidates participating in the job fair.

With companies focusing on diversity and inclusion through gender diversity programmes, the fair would help address this requirement. It would help organisations increase the representation of women in the workplace. The fair also aims to leverage the lost talents and experiences of professionals who left their careers for various reasons. The job fair would serve as an interactive platform for both recruiters and aspirants.

Over 25 organisations from IT, ITES, Retail and Automobile Industries are participating in the Job Fair to assess, interview and recruit candidates for various positions in their organisations. The Job fairs conducted by The Hindu in 2007, 2006, 2005, 2004 and 2003 across several cities in India were a great success and provided excellent career opportunities to all participants – Freshers and experienced Candidates.
