- “ANTIBIOTIC SUSCEPTIBILITY PATTERN FOR ESBL PRODUCING KLEBSIELLA AND MBL PRODUCING PSEUDOMONAS”.
In this study, the effective drug for the infections caused by two most harmful organisms have been found out. The study was done using the following antibiotics Aztreonam, cefotaxamine, Ceftazidime,Ceftriaxone,Cefpodoxime. For klebsiella species, ceftazidime is found to be effective and for pseudomonas species, imipenam is very effective.
- “SYNTHESIS OF PLGA NANOFIBERS BY ELECTROSPINNING TECHNIQUE USING DIFFERENT ORGANIC SOLVENTS AND ITS EFFECT ON MORPHOLOGY OF NANOFIBERS”.

PLGA nanofibers being Biocompatible & Biodegradable are used widely in tissue engineering. In these project PLGA nanofibers was synthesized by Electrospinning using Chloroform, Acetone, THF, DMF and their combination. The fibers were characterized by SEM, Biocompatibility, and Tensile strength & Porosity.
- SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERIZATION OF NICKEL NANOPARTICLES
Nickel nanoparticles have a wide range of applications using its para magnetic and catalytic properties in Biological studies and Electronics. This work involves the chemical synthesis of Nickel nanoparticles around 10-50nm using SDS & PVP as stabilizing agents. These nanoparticles were characterized using HR-SEM & EDAX.
- “STUDYING THE CHARACTERISTICS OF FABRIC COATED SINGLE WALLED CARBON NANOTUBES SYNTHESIZED BY WET CHEMICAL METHOD”.
Single walled carbon nanotubes exhibit excellent electrical & mechanical properties. SWNT are most likely candidate for miniaturizing electronics beyond the micro electromechanical scale currently used in electronics. These nanotubes are synthesized by simple wet chemistry method and characterized for its morphology, chemical structure, composition, stability, purity, etc. the synthesized SWNT are applied on the fabric and yarn. This coating made the fabric conductive and improved its strength. These types of clothes are useful in preparing military aprons, lab overhauls.
