    At present working in Scottish High International School (ICSE, ISC, IB), Gurgaon as Resource Information Professional. This institution is an International Baccalaureate school. At present, I am Head of the Academic Resources of the school and library is my domain. I have also been a key member of the School Editorial Board for the year 2009-10 and in the year 2011, have been appointed as Editor.
    I have played a crucial role as part of the core pioneer team in the process of steering the organization through the various authorization/affiliation processes at different stages. For e.g .the PYP & DP authorizations of IB; the inspection process of the ISC affiliation; audit for the ISO standard adherence etc.
    I have set up the library, trained a team of four members to carry out the different tasks entailed and brought the library to the stage of a fully functional hub of activities and nodal point of the school from its earlier dormant condition. The highlights of my present job responsibilities are :
    - Desk management : Procurements, Circulation, Subscriptions, Collaboration with publishers/vendors, Routine up-dates etc.
    - Delegating duties to team members.
    - Activity planning like book week, book clubs, author invites, getting the children/students to work as a team or individually on an activity/ties.

    - Presenting MIS report to the Principal and the Chairman on a monthly basis.
    - Coordinating with the other Department Heads and teachers for garnering resources in a weekly meeting.
    - Taking up orientations, workshops for the new teacher joinees/trainees.
    - Overall maintenance and up – keep of the ambience of my domain is my duty.
    - Very recently, I have been appreciated for creating a department which has adhered to the ISO 9000 & 14000 standards for having a quality system in place by a team of auditors who visited the organization for the annual audit.     August 2004 to May 2008, at Amity International School,(CBSE) Gurgaon, Haryana as Librarian. I had also been responsible as Examination In-Charge for grades VI to XII.
    I was responsible for the circulation desk during assigned hours, sorting mail, preparing equipment & the library premise for the students.
    I provided courteous assistance to students, faculty and patrons in obtaining library materials and services. I maintained and provided assistance with library equipment besides negotiating with the various publishers. I planned the extension of the existing library collection for the senior students.
    As Examination In- Charge, I was responsible for maintaining all records related to the examinations, thorough proof reading of each question paper, accountability of their xeroxed copies , planning the seating arrangement, allocating invigilation duties of the staff members and above all maintaining the confidentiality and sanctity in the complete conduction of the exams.
    July 2003 to 2004, worked at City Montessori School, (ICSE and UP Board) Lucknow in the Inspection Department as an Assistant to the School Inspector. I had the responsibility of coordinating with the principals of the various branches and report administrative matters to Ma’am regarding the conduction of co curricular activities and in -house training programs for teachers.
    Feb. to Nov.2002, worked at Dalhousie Public School,(CBSE) Dalhousie, Himachal Pradesh as Librarian and teacher of grade III during their evening study hours.
