Objective :
The course is designed to create technical Designers in Fashion Industry with necessary skills, creativity and talent and prosper with attitude.
• To impart inputs required to interpret designs and develop merchandise according to specifications.
• Preparing young Entrepreneurs to start their own design studio.

Eligibility : 10 +2 pass or equivalent - Candidates with creative aptitude will be given preference.

Duration : 1 Years ( 2 Academic semesters)

Content : The course will cover subjects such as Fashion Illustration, Styling, Elements of Design, Basics of Costing, Fabric Study, Pattern Making and Draping, Garment Construction, History of Fashion, Fashion Merchandising, Apparel production Technology, Design studio Activities, Portfolio Presentation.

Learning Outcome : After completion of the course the student will acquire Skills and knowledge to create innovative design as per market trends, develop ranges and able to apply value addition techniques on fabric and garments.
