Project Description :
Helicoverpa armigera (Hubner) has become a serious pest on several crops worldwide. In India alone, it causes crop damage worth about 430.8crores every year. RAPD Analysis on entire genomic DNA of Helicoverpa armigera showed different extents of polymorphism. Juvenile hormone is a key hormone in regulation of insect’s life cycle. In physiology of insect, JHEH plays an important for JH degradation. Further we formed Insilco analysis of JHEH and catalytic site identification.
