PROJECT : Optimization and Production of protease from Agro waste
By Aspergillus Niger in Solid State Fermentation

DURATION : 6 months

DESCRIPTION :
The objective of this project is that proteases are most essential constituents of all forms of life proteolytic enzymes are important industrial enzymes the higher yield of protease production from A.niger was possible by solid state fermentation of wheat bran. Supplementations of wheat bran with minerals enhance the fungal utilization of the substrate. The highest protease activity of 6.54units of dry solids was achieved within 4 days of fermentation. The advantage of this project that protease was used in several industrial purposes.
