    Qualification :
    Matriculation or equivalent and speed of 80 w.p.m. stenography (English) and typing speed of 40 w.p.m.
    Desirable :
    Preference will be given to candidates having proficiency in computer working such as in MS-word, Excel, PPTs etc. and having past experience of similar job.

    Pay scale : Pay band of Rs.5200-20200 plus Rs. 2400 Grade pay

    The National Institute of Disaster Management NIDM New Delhi and the Indian Statistical Institute Kolkata have decided to work together for development of a robust statistical system on hazards, vulnerabilities and risks of disasters in the country. Under this arrangement ISI would assist NIDM in studying the existing statistical system for the collection and analysis of data on natural and manmade hazards and disasters and suggest methods for improving the system.
