Those who have passed Plus Two/equivalent examination with physics, chemistry and mathematics as subjects or three-year diploma holders in any branch of engineering/equivalent examination are eligible for admission. Three years' training is sufficient for appearing for the Aircraft Maintenance Licensing Examination conducted by the DGCA.

Description:
In the aviation industry, both aeronautical engineers and aircraft maintenance engineers are indispensable, though their duties are different.
Aeronautical engineering involves the application of engineering principles and technical know-how to the design, construction and operation of aircraft. Aircraft maintenance engineers are responsible for keeping the aircraft in perfect flying condition. They are involved with the construction, repair and maintenance of aircraft. In order to become an aircraft maintenance engineer, one should obtain a licence from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
DGCA approval for the institute should be ensured before joining it.

I am a fresher graduate in aeronautical Engineering with a GPA 3.2 average from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA).
