Western Vocal Training

What is it all about?
Singing is the act of producing musical sounds with the voice, which is often contrasted with speech. Contrary to common thought, air is not expelled with the diaphragm, but is inhaled using the diaphragm and exhaled or expelled, using the abdominal and lower pelvic muscles, as with ordinary breathing. The pitch is altered with the vocal chords. With the lips closed, this is called humming.

REGULAR ELITE COURSE
* A to Z of western vocals (including sight singing)
* Syllabus including western classical breathing exercises
* Focus on Soft rock, Pop, Jazz, Blues, Country, R&B, Soul and other contempory vocals
* Special emphasis on "How to be a performing artist" including minor details like "How to dress for a stage show"
* One hour session per week (every Sunday)
* Maximum 2 students at a time (You may be taught individually also. We form batches only if we are certain that group dynamics will help you)
* All supplementary books and CD's are provided
* Certification from ABRSM, UK
Level - Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced
Suitable for - Anyone who is interested in western vocals
Number of lessons - 4 practical and 2 theory lessons every month
Frequency - Once a week class of 1 hour each
Batch strength - 1 to 2 (For practical lessons)
Duration - No fixed duration. Whenever you are able to complete one grade you can clear the exam and move on to the next.
