Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) Course

About the course :
Aircraft Maintenance Engineering course covers the entire spectrum of engineering as high degree of technical skill and acumen attributes to Flight safety and maintenance safety. Aircraft Maintenance Engineering course unlike other branches is directly controlled by the DGCA, Ministry of Civil Aviation Department, Govt of India. The AME course duration is 3 years, out of which 21/2 years is theoretical and practical followed by six months of post institutional practical training (OJT) in an aviation organization, approved by the DGCA. Admission is made on the basis of entrance examination. The course normally commences in July in each academic year.

Eligibility :
Students of any nationality may be admitted for the AME course. Candidates shall have passed 10+2 Class with an aggregate of 50% marks in Physics & Mathematics / PCM or three years Diploma in any branch of Engineering.

Medical :
The student will have to produce a medical certificate from a registered medical practitioner with minimum MBBS qualification to certify that he / she has no physical disability and the colour vision is normal.

Fee Structure :
Admission fee Rs. 21,000/-
Tuition Fee (per semester) Rs. 46,500/-
Total Tuition Fee (excluding OJT) for five semesters Rs. 2,32,500/-
Miscellaneous Fee :
Uniform Rs. 4500/-
Study Material (per semester) Rs. 3000/-
OJT As per the prevailing rate at the time of OJT

Mode of Payment :
By demand draft in favour of Center for Civil Aviation Training payable at New Delhi.

Taxes :
Any taxes as applicable will be born by the student.

DESCRIPTION :
- Due to rapid advancement in the electronic commerce technology, the use of credit cards has increased, As credit card becomes the most popular mode of payment for both online as well regular purchase, case of frauds also increases, in this model the operations in credit card transaction process using hidden markov model and how it can be used for the detection of frauds .
- An HMM initially trained with the normal behavior of card holder if an incoming credit card transaction is not accepted by trained HMM with sufficient high probability it is considered as fraudulent. At the same time we try to ensure that genuine truncations not rejected. We present detected experimental results to show the efficiency of our approach and compare it with other available in the literature.
