PROJECTS / TRAINING / WORKSHOP
PROJECT on “MICROCONTROLLER BASED WIRELESS SECURITY SYSTEM”.
DESCRIPTION : The primary aim of the project was to demonstrate wireless communication between two sections. The first part of the project was successfully completed with use of different sensors (fire, water,intruder, gas) that sensed leakage/intrusion with microcontroller as the controlling unit. Antennas were used for wireless based approach. The second part was to transmit the sensor codes through wireless medium to the receiver section using microcontroller programming. The final part of the project was to display the sensor activation code using LCDs and detect problems using buzzer. The project aims at limiting manpower in different areas of industries.
VLSI TRAINING AT CENTRAL TOOL AND TRAINING CENTER, BHUBANESWAR,ORISSA
DESCRIPTION : Successfully trained in VLSI, VHDL and VERILOG Programming at CTTC, Bhubaneswar (Ministry of Micro,Medium and Small Enterprises). The training comprised of understanding VLSI techniques and principles. Modelsim, ALTERA, XILINX softwares were used for programming and to obtain test bench waveforms. Lots of problem statements were dealt with and projects were completed on 3 topics – VHDL coding of ROM chip, CORDIC Processor and GCD by Euclid’s algorithm.
TECHNICAL VISITS :
o Infosys Visit- Spark Program.
o Visit to Orissa Power Transmission Coorporation Limited(OPTCL, 220/132/33Kv sub-station) to learn about power transmission system and utilities.
