I have worked on “Types of butterflies and their Livelihood Research Education project” and “Investigation on fungal diseases and insect pest in forest nurseries of selected tree species and their management” including the “School Teacher” of a Manjunatha Vidyalaya. It have enormous ecological importance because of their aesthetic appeal. Butterflies form an important tool to monitor the fate of insect diversity with changing ecological conditions.
