    Job Description
    Unix admin-Night shift(4 Days on/3 days off)

    Unique opportunity for UNIX gurus to enhance and apply their sysadmin proficiency by working with a team of cutting-edge UNIX experts to manage world-wide enterprise class servers. Exposure to system administration in US is a plus. You must be in the top 10% of the experts in UNIX administration to apply.

    Type of Recruitment: Permanent

    QUALIFICATION
    Engineers from prestigious Institutes, working in top-notch Companies. Experience in UNIX administration in USA a plus. The candidate should be amongst the BEST in the domain of system administration, and should have worked in Tier-3/4 capacity in fixing problems.

    - Linux/Solaris/AIX/HPUX (Expertise in at least two)
    -Remote support, KVM, DRAC, ALOM, HMC
    -Perl/shell scripting(MUST)
    -LVM/Sun Disk Suite
    -Network services, NFS, NIS, DNS, Samba.
    -OpenSource software compilation and installation (gcc, cc)
    -Knowledge of RAID (0,1,1+0,3,5)
    -OS installation, kernel configuration
    -Web servers, apache, iPlanet, tomcat
    -Monitoring tools, Nagios, Netsaint, OVO, BMC patrol, MRTG, Remedy
    - Troubleshooting and performance tuning.

    Plus:
    Veritas products - File System, Clustering, Volume Manager
    OpenPKG / RPM, Sun Packages
    . Storage knowledge, EMC, HP-EVA, IBM-ESS
    . Virtualization, Vmware, Xen

    I have completed 2nd P.U.C & A , N , MCSE course from Jetking Bangalore.
