B.Tech Academic Project :
Title : RAILWAY TRACK CRACK DETECTING VEHICLE
Description : A vehicle was designed and prepared to detect crack on railway track to
reduce the cause of railway accidents. The vehicle can detect crack on railway track up to 1mm, by using
proximity sensors. Whenever the vehicle detects the crack on the track it sends signals to the nearby station
such that the alarm gives warning of that crack at a particular position. This vehicle runs through battery or
solar power and motor used is DC Motor.
STUDY PROJECT :
Title : STUDY ON GENERAL AVIATION AMPHIBIAN AIRCRAFT
Description : The study of modern, general aviation air plane for operation on both land and water
proved interesting. The main important key role of this project was to design an airplane with lesser drag,
which can be operated on both land and water by sponsons and retractable landing gears with a single engine
(propeller) propulsion mounted on its wing. Amphibian aircraft is the modernized airplane of floatplanes. The
project was to attempt to merge the semi empirical charts and equations of an earlier era with modern
computer analytical techniques. This study appeared to show that it is possible to design and build a reasonably
priced amphibian with flight performance superior to some current land based and amphibious designs.
