Job Description
The incumbent will be working on designing and implementing projects Java server applications for managing complex document data and relationships in Windchill. All the work done by the group is done in Java.

Job Responsibilities include:-
* Develop iterative prototypes when appropriate
* Prepare design note(s) per group standards based on an approved set of requirements.
* Completes all work according to schedule requirements
* Write well documented & performing code including source code documentation that meets organizational standards
* Run unit tests and deliver automated tests to QA for inclusion in a regression test bed when appropriate
* Acquire knowledge necessary to perform job assignments (technology, product and process)
* Resolution of software defects (all aspects from evaluation, fixing, workarounds, unit testing) as per organization guidelines.
* Provide timely and complete information to the QA group to facilitate formal testing
* To perform the functions of the job as per instruction and pre-established guidelines
Desired Profile The skills required for this position are:
* Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science or related discipline.
* 4-6 Years Programming Experience - of which minimum 2+ years should be in design and development of Java server applications.
* Worked on at least one large project of period of one year or more
* Good knowledge of object oriented design
* Good knowledge and work experience in server side Java technologies like RMI, Multi-threading, Core Java, data modeling, UML, etc.
* Ability to work independently and seek guidance when necessary.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.

Following skills will be added advantage:
* Knowledge of Pro/ENGINEER or Windchill.
* Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.

Description :
This is a project of PRODUCT-TRACKING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM for any kind of Organizations. The service helps to maintain all the details of the customers visitors like interview, products delivery and management or onsite visitors. The admin or security can register visitors with their details that can be done with minimum time, once the registration is done that can be maintained forever for auditing purpose, we can get the details of visitors by date-wise or month-wise or years- wise.
We are using MVC (model view controller) architecture. View uses JSP and HTML, model uses java code or java bean, controller uses JSP/servlet. Java Servlets are used for receiving HTTP requests and the resulting views are implemented in JSP.
The product Tracking Management System is running on the web server called Apache with container called Tom-cat.
