Description :
The LSPMSM is actively being considered as an energy efficient LSPMSM alternative to the induction motor. With the fall in price in prices of commercial magnets use is proliferated. This is a result of the fact that motors and modern equipments are often sensitive to variations in voltage. Voltage sags and momentary interruptions have proved to be the most costly power quality variation to the customer. As permanent magnet synchronous motors are attracting growing attention for a wide variety of industrial application, it is required to know the behaviour of these motors under today’s power quality issues. In this work the simulink modeling of LSPMSM is prepared.
Project # 2 : Nano structured Analog to Digital Converter Design using Single Electron transistors.

Description :
Single electron tunneling is a process by which electrons can be transported (tunnel) across a thin insulating surface. A conducting island separated by a pair of quantum tunnel junctions creates a Single Electron Transistor (SET). SETs exhibit higher functionality than traditional MOSFETs, and function best at very small feature sizes, in the neighborhood of 1nm. Many circuits must be developed before SETs can be considered a viable contender to CMOS technology. One important application is in the design of Analog to Digital Converter. By taking advantage of the Coulomb blockade effect, the conversion of the analog input to a digital signal is obtained directly without the use of reference voltages, counters or other auxiliary circuitry. The operation of the A to D converter is simulated and the electron transport in the circuit is analyzed.
