Present Job Profile :
I am heading two departments naming Planning and Die Shop. Work force comprises of high caliber Engineers, Highly skilled Technicians and many rugged workers of different nationalities. Production deadlines are controlled by effective planning, cost control and waste management. The stretched targets are met by analyzing the day to day problem with a strong firm decision. Quality issues could be brought in to well control by re-writing the quality procedures and work instructions.
Career mile stones :
- November 2005-continue : Gulf Extrusions Co. L.L.V, Dubai. Division Head-DieShop & Production Planning: Gulf Extrusions dealing with Aluminum extrusion profiles and has a strong existence in UAE and Europe market.
- March 2004–August 2005 : Midi Extrusions Ltd, Noida, India.. Deputy Works Manager: Being the Plant head, I was running the unit as a Profit center keeping all Quality Standards in place. Successfully commissioned the ALU TUBE continuous drawn tube plant. Multivoid dies were being manufactured in-house as a cost effective insert dies. Drawn tube dies were manufactured with carbide inserts.
- September 2003- January 2004 : Jindal Aluminium Ltd, Bangalore, India. Deputy Manager (Tool Room): Looking after the production of Die Manufacturing.
- December 2002- June 2003 : ALEX, Owerri, Nigeria. Press shop Specialist: Production Process stabilization and Manpower rationalization.
- September 1997-December 2002 : Hindalco Industries Limited, Renukoot, India. Deputy Manager: Joined as an Engineer in Extrusion & Dieshop department and showed active participation in erection and commissioning of Extrusion Press. Then promoted as an Asst. Plant Superintendent and given additional Production responsibility for a Press and a Conform Machine. Then I was promoted to Deputy Manager with additional responsibility of Dieshop. I had developed many jigs and fixtures for load distribution in all the units of Tool Room. That means a same job can be done in Milling or in Lathe or in Band saw machines also.
- December 1994 – May 1997 : Raymond Synthetics Limited, Allahabad, India. Maintenance Engineer: Joined as a trainee and after completion of my training, I became an Area-Incharge of Dyeing Plant. Showed my talent in Spare-parts Inventory Control and Machine up-time. I have exposure to maintenance various types’ pumps like Chemical pump with steam flushed mechanical seal, high pressure injection pumps, Hydraulic pumps and blowers.
- August 1993 – December 1994 : College of Engineering & Technology, Bhubaneswar, India. Part-time Lecturer: I started my career as a Part time Lecturer. I took active participation in guiding students for Project work.
