It is an offshoot of the special microwave products unit (SMPU) set up in 1977 at the TATA INSTITUTE OF FUNDAMENTAL RESEARCH (TIFR), Mumbai. SAMEER, Mumbai was setup in 1984.

- TITLE :FPGA Implementation of SVPWM Realization Circuits For Three Phase Matrix Converter
Abstract;: In our project, we built it to convert any input frequency to any output frequency without any DC link (AC-AC Conversion). In the previous technology there will be a presence of a DC link which increase the cost and consume high power.In order to overcome this disadvantages we are using this method. This finds a great application in the Wind Mill. Some of the tools used to make this project are FPGA-SPARTAN 3 , XILIX-ISE SIMULATOR.
