Job Responsibilities;
- To carry out all inspection and reuirements as per QAP
- Supervise the implementation of the relevant QA/QC procedures,QC plans and work instructions.
- Maintaining the records of calibration,inspection an testing equipment as per the quality system procedures
- Responsible for collating and monitoring quality records, recording and reporting
quality activities with Client in quality matters.
- Co-coordinating quality audit and take approptiate corrective and preventive actions.
- To carryout inspection and test activities as per QC plan requirements for client specifications,international codes and standards as applicable.
- Responsible for verification of calibration status of inspection, measuring and test equipment.
- Inspection of the piping system in line with the GA drawings, P& ID, Isometrics & Support details.
- Conformation of materials & Welding consumables with drawing and codes.
- Assuring proper follow up of WPS during welding
- Monitoring of various welding process like GTAW, GMAW & SMAW
- Continuous monitoring of welding consumables and treatment of electrodes
- Conducting welders test (3G,4G & 6G) as per WPS.
- Monitoring welding and welder’s performance.
- Inspection of Heat treatment cycle using WPS, Procedures & codes
- Verification of application of required N.D.T.to assure acceptability of quality of welds by NDT methods.
- Evaluating non-destructive testing (MPT, PT and UT) of weld joints
- Radiographic film interpretation
- Witnessing welder performance qualification test
- Witness hydrostatic pressure / leak test, pneumatic test
- Stage wise inspection of welding.(fit up, root pass visual & NDT, Final weld Visual & NDT)
- Review of pre-heating, post-heating and PWHT cycle
