The advancements in the field of information technology enhance its utility towards electrical energy monitoring and billing. Usage of Embedded systems is enormous in this field. The electricity billing is no more inferior to adopt IT tools. The installation cost may cause a little, but after adopting these tools benefits like low running cost; absence of theft and pilferage, will be utilized by both service providers and consumers. The embedded system will help in the easy monitoring and control of electrical distribution through wireless communication with a lower cost than the same implemented by the PLC.
In energy and electrical distribution is totally automated there. Now the developing countries like India are realizing the benefits of automation and adopting these IT tools step-by-step-starting from the areas and, as in the 21st century, manufacturing methods for meters and relays are completely electronic, this will enhance further to easily adopt embedded system control.
In the system we will be having two sections. That is the one kept in the electricity office and the second will kept connected to the meter in our houses. The system which is kept connected with the meter will always keep a track of the consumption of the institution and whenever a request is send by the consumption amount of the corresponding. On the failure of payment of the bill. Relay, we are used in control purpose {ON/OFF}
