EQUIPMENT / INSTRUMENTS USED:
Hygro meter (sling psychrometer), Elcometer (digital), profile gauge (dial thk. gauge, subtronic 3+), salt tester SCM 400, wet comb gauge, dry film thickness gauge (Elcometer positector, mikro test etc.), pull of gauge adhesion/cure tester, hardness tester, pinhole detector (spy model)etc.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
I was responsible for the strict implementation of project and Company's quality procedures on varied range of projects including Wellhead Jacket, Topsides, Desalination units and Pipeline coatings.
Ensure all activities carried out one as per the contractual requirements and within the specified parameters/specifications, monitor all inspection activities, prepare inspection reports, work progress reports and work completion reports submitted for approval by the site Engineers.
Regular check to ensure all testing equipment are calibrated and maintained as per the instruction manual. Check calibration records for inspection equipment, material storage records (storage conditions) and product data sheets.
