The punching shear action will be more prominent for the Flat Slabs without drop and column without column head connections.
In this paper, a multi storied building frame with flat slabs (3mx3m interior spans) was modeled by using the software ABAQUS, a three dimensional (3-D) finite element model was established to analyze the slab-column joint behavior when it is subjected to static loading.
