Scope :
Business Overview : Network Database (NDB) is a system where provider records are loaded for UnitedHealth Group. All provider types, including Physicians, Physician Groups, Allied Health Professionals, Ancillaries and Facilities are included in NDB. Entry of all new provider records and maintenance to existing provider records is performed in NDB
This is one of the United Healthcare’s national provider databases that contain both Participating and Non-Participation provider information. Some of the information that is stored in NDB includes the provider’s demographic information such as place of service address and phone number. When a provider is participating with United Healthcare NDB also contains credentialing data and the managed care contracted information such as the reimbursement files, which includes fee schedules, facility rate tables and capitation tables. The demographic data in NDB feeds to COSMOS and TOPS. Some of the rate information will also be fed to COSMOS and TOPS, but currently this depends on the negotiated agreement. This database contains over one million provider records, contracts, and supporting information, and resides on an IBM mainframe system

- Giving Test Approach and Test Cases walkthroughs to the QA and the Development Teams.

Using three-layered architecture and customizing as per client requirements use Hewitt HRO Benefit Module to implement a complete range of Human Resource Benefits.

- Participating in the set up of the technology platform for a client team's administration system. This includes creating or modifying the tables for the plan provisions.
- Creating detailed test scripts to test all conditions by adding test case details researched from the Production Database using BFQuery.
- Executing all testing (unit, integration, regression, YBR- Website Testing) according to the test plans.
- Preparing of status report and updates to the onsite.
