Thesis Synopsis : Unsaturated Polyester resin has been prepared from a vegetable oil named Jatropha oil by the method of trans-esterification .Different batches of resins are prepared by changing the ratio of oil to alcohol and characterized. Also using different amount of catalyst (MEKP, Co-naphenate) they are cured under different temperatures ranging from room temperature to elevated temperature and characterized.
