Job Description
- Run Nastran Solution 101 (linear static) and Solution 103 (normal modes)
- Preferably run Patran pre-processing code
- Sensitivity analysis of engine model to provide best weight reduction opportunities

Packages of work include front structure, rear structure and pylon stiffness investigations Optimization of main engine structures for particular static loading conditions using a (supplied) whole engine FEM model. - Feedback and work interactively with the team to achieve an optimum structure (weight reduction, improved stiffness).

Job Profile Software Skills:
Nastran, Patran
Microsoft packages Hardware/Domain Knowledge
- Awareness of gas turbine engine architecture.
- Ability to interpret engineering definitions, Basic Gas Turbine performance Soft Skills / Personality Traits
