TITLE : Market clearing and Settlement in Electricity Market for Primary Transaction Including Loss Using DCOPF Model
Synopsis : This project presents a methodology for solving the problem in a single sided and double sided auctions electricity markets using DCOPF model. In this model loss is incorporated into the line flow limit inequality constraints using the concept of Fictitious Nodal Demand (FND) and into the load balance equality constraint using the concept of Loss Factor (LF) and Delivery Factor (DF).

TITLE : Damping Improvement in Power Systems by Using Facts Devices
Synopsis : Facts devices mainly STATCOM, SSSC and UPFC are used to damp the rotor oscillations in power system during faults such as line outage, increase of load...etc.
