Description : BT is one of the major clients for Tech Mahindra. This is a transition project where BT has acquired a company and given the responsibility to Tech Mahindra to do the Organizational transition along with it the applications which were maintained by the company. Responsibilities
- Operations Management - Support the operations management process by maintaining existing departmental policies and procedures

St Joseph’s College of Business Administration
A Comprehensive study of the IT Services Implemented by Guwahati Refinery
Description : The main objectives of the project were to analyse the IT Services provided by the Information System Department of Guwahati Refinery. Different aspects of IT Infrastructure and IT Services are studied. During the project the systems with respect to ITIL framework are analysed and scope of alignment of IT Services with respect to business objectives were studied and recommend Process Improvements if any.
All the systems in Guwahati Refinery were analysed with respect to ITIL V3 Framework which is the collection of best practices in IT Service Management. All the processes were mapped with that of ITIL.
At Guwahati Refinery, Information Systems department provide 10 major services to their internal users. All the services have a well defined service management strategy which helps in keeping the services up and running even if some major issues are reported as they have internal as well as external agreement to resolve the issues within the stipulated timeframe. They have business continuity plan which helps them to recover from any natural disasters such as flood, earthquake, etc.

Remote speed control of AC motors
Description : This was a project undertaken under college curriculum. The main aim of the project was to design and develop an electronic control system that can be used to control the speed of motors kept at remote location using Embedded Technology.
In this project we used DTMF (Dual tone Multi-frequency) generator which generates the analogue output for the corresponding button pressed using key pad. This analogue output was fed to the FM Transmitter and sent through the antenna. At the other end, the FM Receiver picks up the signal and feeds up to the signal decoder, the decoding takes place and this decoded data is given to the PIC Micro-controller. This micro controller is initially programmed for this specific operation using the PIC Micro controller. This software in the PIC receives the signal and accordingly drives the TRAIC circuit, which in turn is connected to the load serially.
