PROJECT PROFILE

Title : ELECTRONIC CARD LOCK SYSTEM
Type : (Mini project)
The electronic card lock system is a lock which controls the working for important electronic and electrical appliances. When card is inserted inside its mechanism depending upon the position of punched hole on the card, a particular appliance would be switched on. The system utilises incandescent lamp, photo transistors and also punched cards, rectangular in shape, with one hole for the working.
To make a particular appliance work, the card for that particular appliance is inserted into the disk drive. The hole on each card is punched according to the position of the phototransistor meant for each device. Depending on the position of the hole, light from the incandescent lamp fall on the photo transistor, which is inturn activated. This causes the particular device to be switched on.

Title : ULTRA CAPACITOR BASED ON PYRO SYSTEM

RLV-TD(Reusable Launch Vehicle - Technology Demonstrator) is a near future project of ISRO. This project will demonstrate the entire Pyro commanding sequence of RLV-TD vehicle in lab. Pyro command is used to
ignite solid motor, separation system, Valve functions etc. In RLV-TD, Ultra- Capacitor is used to execute pyro commands instead of battery. Pyro command is a 200 millisecond duration pulse command. This project
will generate pyro pulse commands in time as per the vehicle sequence, and analyze the capability of the system. These command outputs will operate an electro-mechanical relay and its relay contacts are connected to the electrical initiated devices (squibs).The sequencer is implemented using LABVIEW
