    Job Description
    - Support exploration and appraisal well evaluation programs by obtaining and analyzing rock and fluid samples from unconventional and conventional oil and gas reservoirs, source rocks, and zones of interest
    - Integrate organic or petroleum geochemical data with other types of subsurface information (such as fluid pressure or production data) to assess (1) reservoir connectivity and allocate commingled oil or gas production or, (2) to predict physical and chemical properties of reservoir fluids laterally across oil and gas fields
    - Cooperate with basin-modelers to conduct integrated HC charge studies by characterizing petroleum source rocks and correlating them to oil and gas samples

    Desired Candidate Profile
    - PhD or MSc with a few years experience in Petroleum or Organic Geochemistry developing and implementing petroleum geochemistry technology on EP projects
    - Skilled at designing and implementing source rock, crude oil, and natural gas sampling and analytical programs; applying reservoir geochemistry techniques to provide advice to geologists and petroleum engineers regarding the appraisal, development, and management of oil and gas reservoirs; and performing petroleum system analysis

    I) Presently associated as Young Scientist (Geology) with Department of Science & Technology, New Delhi, India, Oil gas & Mineral exploration, Since Nov/2009 (Contract Position).
    Supervised and maintained records of previous Exploratory drilling activities and all materials used, for billing purposes. Measured and recorded drill pipe, bits, and casing lengths to ensure proper depth control. Studied and interpreted well logs, analyzed conventional as well SW cores and rock cuttings to classify formation changes and areas of concern. Data was utilized in the construction of Standard Data Base. Complete information was conveyed to the manager on a daily basis and turned over to the Directional General of Hydrocarbon (DGH) for examination when drilling and sampling were completed.

    Geologist/ Domain Expert Dec/2008 to Nov/2009.
    Managed associates working in IHS Energy Project, in the detection and evaluation of hydrocarbons at various drilling locations throughout the U.S. Worked in directly with Well Site Geologist in exploration of hydrocarbon deposits. Executed daily downloads of morning reports, mud logs, electric logs, and up to date drilling parameters. Maintained all geological and logging equipment.
