    OBJECTIVE

A highly motivated and responsible individual who enjoys a challenge, seeking a dynamic trainee or graduate position in an automotive industry, offering room to grow and good opportunities for development and career progression.

    EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

MSc. Automotive engineering: Completed in September 2010
University of Leeds, Leeds, United Kingdom
Key subject areas are: Vehicle design and analysis, Vehicle chassis engineering, Computational and experimental methods, Tribology, and Auto-driveline engineering.

Research Project: ‘Design of a lightweight-energy efficient nose cone structure for Leeds University student Formula race car’

My research involved in introducing DOE approach and conducting numerical simulations using explicit Finite Element solver namely LS-DYNA and successfully developed an optimum nose cone structure design for the Leeds University Formula race car 2010. Design works are carried out in Solid Works, solid modelling in Hyper works and analysis using LS-DYNA. Hence, I excel in research works based on FEA using HYPERMESH and LS-DYNA.

Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering: Completed in 2009
Hindusthan College of Engineering & Technology, Coimbatore, India

Key subject areas are: Automotive Engineering, Finite Element Analysis, Mechanics of Solids, Kinematics and Dynamics of Machines, Thermodynamics, Engineering Mechanics, Robotics, Total Quality Management, Heat and Mass Transfer, Fluid Dynamics, Engineering Graphics, Design of Transmission Systems and Machine Elements

    Projects:
    1. ‘Solar Powered Fire-Fighting Robot’
Working model of a Robot, consisting of a shaft rotating 3600 attached along with a Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) sensor is produced which can effectively detect fire and sends pulse signal to the microcontroller unit which activates the Fire extinguisher. This fully automated fire-fighting robot eliminates the fire hazards where water and human source cannot be used.

    2. ‘Reduction of Emission in 2-stroke engine’

A two-stroke engine coupled with a turbocharger that increases the efficiency & decreases the emission produced by the engine. The turbocharger is connected to the exhaust of the two stroke engine. The turbocharger divides the exhaust gas as waste gas & compresses air. The compressed air is again sent back to the engine which contributes the engine to produce more power & reduce the emission.
