The Post Graduate Diploma in Process Design Engineering aims at providing professional industrial training & exposure to various Process Engineering design principles for Chemical Engineers.

The training program provides adequate knowledge to candidates starting from explaining the roles & responsibilities of Process Design Engineer & to development of final process design engineering documents like Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs). This program is designed to cater to the needs of fresher as well as experienced professionals.

Eligibility :
A Candidate will be eligible for admission & registration for the Post Graduate Diploma in Process Design Engineering, provided he/she has a Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in Chemical / Bio Chemical or Diploma in Chemical Engineering.

a) Faculty : The Process Design Engineering programs are developed and headed by Mrs. Shailaja Nagendra; she is having around 16 years of experience in Oil & Gas Industries and worked with different offshore & onshore projects.

b) Course Contents : The course content has formalized keeping the exact requirement of the Industry. The course starts with explaining the roles and responsibilities of the Process design engineer to development of core and ultimate drawing Plant modeling along with Isometric drafts and detail engineering.

c) Affiliation : The Indus Global Academy of Technical Education is Education wing of INDUS USA Group of Companies and acts as an autonomous body. Further we are a certified Pearson VUE Test Center and member of Michigan State Works USA. And we are in virtue of getting affiliation from API

d) Book & Course Material : Candidates will be provided with course material including course guidelines.


e) Assignments : The Process Design Engineering program’s consists of periodic assignments to access the learning stage & progress in knowledge and candidates need to submit the assignment paper with in due dates. Further these assignment carrier marks and will be added to final marks sheet.

f) Project Work : Projects are developed by our faculties to provide exposure on all the aspects of Process Engineering. The project work is compulsory to all the candidates.

g) Examination : There will be an examination at the end of course to assess the candidate’s level of understanding of the subject. Candidates need to take Examination within 90 Days of the admission date.

h) Certification : Certification will be provided by Indus Global Academy of Technical Education, candidates will be awarded certificate on the basis of their performance in the examination. Indus grading system is as following
Above 80% : A+
From 71 to 80% : A
From 60 to 70% : B
i) Placement Assistance :- Indus is providing placement assistance to all our candidates. We have dedicated placement cell which will work on candidate resume from the day one of the completion of the course.
