The throughput requirement considered for design of the pipeline system is 3.3 MMTPA in Phase I and 4 MMTPA in Phase II. The present capacity is 3.3 MMTPA. The length of the pipeline from Cochin to Karur is 292.500 Km

Project Title : Design and Fabrication of Hovercraft

PROJECT DESCRIPTION & CONTRIBUTION
Description :
A Hovercraft comprises of two systems i.e. the lift system and the thrust system. Our batch of eight members was divided into two groups which was the DESIGN group and the FABRICATION group for both the lift and the thrust systems.
My Contribution :
I belong to the DESIGNING group. Though it was divided into two groups all of us worked as a whole unit. So my contribution was involved in every stage of the Hovercraft construction. Initially Design for both the lift and thrust system was completed and then the fabrication was done for the lift system, after getting the lift we moved on with the fabrication of the thrust system which was completed successfully.
